NYC Street Lights and Taxis Upper West Side - Metal prints
Upper West Side in Manhattan
For this whole series I was thinking about time and Monet and Rothko. Also David Hockney's photography that shows a many images of a scene of having coffee over a few minutes turned into a single art work.
What I have done is taken many brief moments at one spot and combined them together in one moment. you still see all that is happening but it's like a ghost.
This is taken using an old timer 4x5 camera from I think the 1940's. There is no digital manipulation this was all done with a single sheet of film in the camera. Originally I printed these on metallic paper, they will amazing on the metal hanging on your wall. These are all just ridiculously beautiful. You're a better person now just for seeing them
Yes, everything is reversed in this photo, it's better that way.
This metal print is a dimensional and high-quality piece of art that stands the test of time while remaining easy to clean and care for. The artwork looks luminescent against the wall and the metal base means it’ll last a long time.
